Around the house...

OK JASON, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU !!
Months (and months) ago, I took the fan blades off the fan over the table to paint the celing. Until today, the fan motor, lights and blue painters tape remained on the celing to my brother-in-law, Jason's dismay. He threatens to take it down every time he stays with us and this last visit the old dusty brass half fan seemed to cause him far too much anxiety. So in honor of Jason... the new light is finally up and the old is respectably where it belongs, in a box waiting for him. Just kidding. I kinda miss the dusty brass!!

Russ and Odie just wanted to drop in and say "Hi". They had sooo much fun with Jake, Grace and Casidy the past few days despite their occasional emotional outbursts ( the dogs that is, not the kids!!)

13 Weeks Pregnant

I CAN GROW PEOPLE! WHATs YOUR SUPER POWER?

This stage of pregnancy is a funny thing. As you can see, I look like I could use a few quality sit ups. To the untrained eye that wee bitty bump is merely a layer of fat!! No one has sympathy for a normal person retching and gaging in public. Its just not fair! I am going to attempt to fit into the same outfit the first of every month and laugh as my clothes get smaller and smaller. I will post it so you all can laugh with me (notice how I said WITH, not AT). Russ and Odie have no idea that their perfect little doggie lives are about to come to a screeching halt. We have tried to explain it to them but something tells me they just don't get it. Until next post... TTFN.

Baby's First Picture

Today we got to see our baby for the first time. What an amazing experience that was. I wish I could have recorded Matt's face when the image came up on the screen. It was truly priceless. This baby is a little wiggle worm. We do NOT know if it is a boy or girl yet but may be next month! Baby was flipping around and moving its arms all over, which made the experience all the more amazing. The doctor said the the baby was standing on its head (above). I feel much closer with all of you knowing that you all can say that you have looked at my uterus. Matt and I have a gym membership now. They have a SCALE there!! It lies to me every time I step on it. GOOD FOR BABY. Baby and my weight is up 3 lbs. and counting... Next blog I might not be quiet so honest!
